| Given the increasing popularity of live bands at “Concert In The Park” events, we re-launched our Saturday Night last year as a “Concert In The Grand Marquee” thus enjoying the best of both worlds…an al fresco feel but under cover protected from the elements in an atmospheric arena and booked an award winning festival quality band, the 10 PIECE SOUL TRADERS.
We are delighted to announce that we have re-booked them as our headline act following their outstanding performance last year. They will be supported by their own special guests DIRTY SANTANA… a dedicated 7 piece SANTANA tribute band who will bring variety, a Latin flavour and a touch of class. Look out for the crazy bongo player! See them on YouTube and @ www.myspace.com/dirtysantana
To complete our line up and open our evening, we are also pleased to announce that we have booked Abridge’s “King of Swing”… vocalist ROBBIE J. who will entertain us with his “Rat Pack” tribute and party favourites. In fact the evening could be re-named “ABRIDGE HAS GOT TALENT” as guitarist Tony Mearing who plays for both the SOUL TRADERS and DIRTY SANTANA is also from Abridge! Do we have any more talented musicians from Abridge out there?
